The queen of the Arabian Sea has so much to offer in terms of tourist spots and also cuisine. One can almost feel as though the history of the place was seeping into them as well and that they were becoming a part of the place. With so many tourists coming in every year internationally Cochin is certainly a busy destination. There are a lot of domestic tourists as well.

To accommodate their arrival as a lot of them are going to be travelling by air, the airport had been striving to provide the same. Cochin Airport is located in a placed called Nedumbassery which is about thirty kilometres from the city.
It is the largest and the busiest airport in the state of Kerala. It is the seventh busiest airport in India due to its high volume of passengers. As of August I was deemed the first airport in the world to be fully powered by solar panels.
When it comes to service as well Cochin Airport has a lot to offer. There are lounges present for VIP and CIP guests. The lounge also caters to business class and first class passengers. There are lots of duty-free shops to take home souvenirs with you. The airport does have domestic and international destinations so there are bound to be tourists from abroad as well. There are shops selling exquisite traditional handicrafts for them to buy. You can also just sit down at a coffee shop and enjoy a cup of coffee as you wait for your flight.
